What is the Frenzy Score?
The Frenzy Score is a score out of 99 given to each ranked deal on our homepage. It’s our way of answering one question: how good is this deal, really?
The score is built on three checks:
- The price: how good the price really is, measured against the product’s own price history, not just the store’s advertised discount.
- The product: whether it’s something people actually want right now.
-
The store: the store’s track record; stores with a great reputation rank higher.
Fresher price drops, rank higher, so the list stays lively as we re-check prices throughout the day.
Two things the score is not. It’s not for sale. There are no paid placements in the rankings. Retailers can pay for clearly labelled Sales Event bookings, but payment never influences deal rankings, the Frenzy Score or the Frenzy 50. And it’s not just “biggest discount wins” it’s designed to see past inflated “was” prices, because it measures against the product’s own price history.
